“They don’t need water to kill!” Wild Eye Releasing has debuted a trailer for a B-movie sci-fi comedy called Space Sharks, the latest from filmmaker Dustin Ferguson. This has already been dumped on VOD and can be watched now, if anyone wants to give it a go? A military experiment goes awry in this sci-fi action film by the director of Apex Predators and Spider Baby. Starring Oscar nomineee Eric Roberts and legendary movie villain Mel Novak. A military experiment conducted on a space station goes horribly wrong, sending a new breed of weaponized sharks down to Earth with only one mission: destroy everything in their path. Why is Eric Roberts in this?! How did that happen?? Swimming alongside the likes of Sharknado and The Meg, Space Sharks takes a cosmic bite out of the screen. Packed with action, and even an intergalactic sci-fi twist, Space Sharks also stars Vida Ghaffari, A Christmas Story’s Scott Schwartz, Brinke Stevens. So this is just a Predator rip-off but with sharks instead of aliens? Seems so bad it’s not even worth laughing at.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Dustin Ferguson’s Space Sharks, direct from YouTube:
