Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani suffered a shoulder injury during game 2 of the World Series, and his injury status put his participation in game 3 up-in-the-air.

Barring any setbacks or risk of further injury, Shohei is expected to suit up for the game tonight, which will take place at Yankee Stadium in New York City.

“If [Shohei] feels good enough to go, I see no reason he won’t be in there,” manager Dave Roberts said (via the New York Times).

“I think that he’s obviously very well aware of himself and his body,” Roberts added.

Specifically, Shohei suffered from a partial dislocation of his left shoulder, which is also called a subluxation. The Dodgers won the first two games in the series, and if they win the next two, they’ll be the champs.
