According to reporting by Deadline, Donald announced that he had no intention of agreeing to a second debate on Wednesday.
“There will be no rematch,” he announced, confirming something that he had previously hinted at. The outlet noted that he felt it was “too late in the process” to take the stage again.
Kamala‘s campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said that Donald “fears another debate where Vice President Harris would hold him accountable in front of tens of millions of Americans.”
Their first and only debate took place in September and attracted nearly 60 million viewers.
